The Grants and Services Finder is an online database that allows users to find information on Australian grants and services for the cultural sector. Please note the Grants and Services Finder is not being regularly updated. Please contact relevant organisations directly for updated information. Shortly, a self-update system will be in place for organisations to directly update their own information.

GrantsLINK helps you find funding available under a variety of grant programs for individuals, businesses and communities.

Interactive Digital Media

The Australian Film Commission's document Interactive Digital Media: Where to Get Money, Information, Advice provides funding information and advice compiled from state governments, the Australian Government, industry networks, and directories, services and publications.

Tax incentives

The Government encourages donations to the cultural sector by initiating various tax incentive schemes:

Donations
  • Cultural Gifts Program - Public libraries, museums and art galleries are utilising these incentives to attract significant cultural donations from private collectors.
  • Register of Cultural Organisations- Inclusion on the Register assists cultural organisations to attract much needed private sector support for their activities by offering donors the incentive of a tax deduction.
Film

The Government encourages private investment in the Australian film industry through various tax incentive schemes:

DonorTec

DonorTec provides donated software and hardware from companies such as Microsoft and Cisco to eligible Australian non-profit groups with Income Tax Exempt Status (ITE).
